Mr. Krogh graduated Magna Cum Laude from Arizona State University and went directly into professional aviation. He held management positions with several aviation firms and was an FAA Check Airman under Part 135 and Part 121 companies. He was a simulator instructor and eventually a senior captain for a major U.S. airline. Mr. Krogh co-founded International Jet in 1979 and served in various capacities including Director of Operations, President and most recently CEO. Mr. Krogh is an FAA-rated Airline Transport Pilot with additional ratings in gliders and seaplanes and has logged more than 16,000 hours. He has experience in many different aircraft including the following jet aircraft: Citation, Learjet, L-29 Delfin, DC-8, DC-10, Airbus 320, and Boeing 727, 737, 757, 767. In addition, Mr. Krogh is a current Certified Flight Instructor and an FAA-licensed Airframe and Powerplant (A & P) Mechanic. He owns and flies his own Cessna 172 for recreation and to introduce others to aviation. Mr. Krogh is a lifetime member of the National Aeronautic Association (NAA), the National Aviation Hall of Fame (NAHF), the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA), and the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA). He has given his volunteer time to the Make-a-Wish Foundation, Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, Boy Scouts of America, the All-American Boys Chorus and EAA Young Eagles.
Mr. Smith was given his first flying lesson at the age of 10 in southwestern Connecticut and started flying on his own at the age of 17. He graduated from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Aeronautical Science and a minor in Business Administration. He built most of his early aviation experience flying over 100 different types of single and multi-engine aircraft around the country. For the past 29 years he has been part of International Jet serving in many different capacities including: Director of Training & Standardization, Director of Safety, 22 years as an FAA Check Airman, Chief Pilot and President. Brian has over 12,000 hours and 22 years of commercial airline experience flying to over 50 countries and making 90+ circles around the globe in various Learjets, Boeing 727, DC-10 and MD-11 aircraft. Brian and his family contribute to many charities including Pilots For Kids, Make-A-Wish Foundation, EAA and the Big Brothers Big Sisters of America.
Mr. Milam graduated from San Jose State University in 1973 with a degree in Business Administration. Upon graduating from college he went to work for Wells Fargo Bank in San Jose, California. In 1979 Mr. Milam co-founded International Jet where he has served as Company President, CEO and most recently, Chairman. Mr. Milam learned to fly while attending college and is an FAA-rated Commercial Pilot. He owns and flies his own Cessna 182RG and is a member of the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA). He has been a volunteer member of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) Golf Tournament Advisory Board for the past several years and has also donated to many other charitable organizations including the Make-a-Wish Foundation, American Heart Association, Volunteers of America and the Arthritis Foundation. Mr. Milam served in the California Army National Guard from 1970 – 1976.
Mr. Strangfeld has been involved in aviation all of his life. His career started as an aircraft mechanic achieving A & P, IA, and FAA Designated Airworthiness Representative ratings. While working as a mechanic he completed his pilot rating up to an ATP with type ratings in jet aircraft. He has held positions as Chief Pilot for international corporations and personally bought and sold aircraft all over the world, including a trip to Russia during the end of the cold war to purchase a dozen military fighters. Mr. Strangfeld is a 4th generation Colorado native who attended Metropolitan State Colleges' Aviation Management program and enjoys all outdoor activities and volunteering at youth ski resort events.
Mr. Anderson being a Colorado native earned his pilot certificate over 35 years ago at the Fort Collins/Loveland Airport and has been actively flying since. With over 6000 hours logged in Learjets alone, he has a depth of high performance turbine experience. He is currently a Learjet FAA authorized Check Airman and facilitates most of the operational compliance issues with the FAA and other regulatory agencies for International Jet Aviation. Other current and former pursuits and interests include Sertoma, professional photography, home construction foreman, cabinetmaker, Civil Air Patrol (recognized as senior member of the year Nebraska Wing 1986), and general tinkerer.
Mr. Champney was born and raised in El Paso, Texas. His father was a Cessna dealer and distributor for West Texas and Southern New Mexico and he became immersed in aviation at a very early age. He soloed on his sixteenth birthday in a twin-engine Cessna 320 on a flight from Wichita, KS to El Paso. Over time, he worked in every facet of the aviation business from maintenance to flight instruction and charter. Mr. Champney graduated, with honors, from the University of Texas at El Paso, majoring in Physics with minors in Mathematics and Accounting. Upon graduating from college he was employed by Farah Manufacturing Company as a corporate jet pilot and engineer. Mr. Champney joined International Jet in 2001 as Lead Air Medical Captain and was Assistant Chief Pilot prior to becoming Chief Pilot. Mr. Champney holds an Airline Transport Pilot certificate, Flight and Ground Instructor certificates, and is also glider rated having logged a total of 7,500 hours. He has served as an Aviation Explorer Post Advisor with the Boy Scouts of America, is a guest lecturer at Metropolitan State College, and was a very active referee and Co-Chairman of the State Referee Committee for the Colorado State Youth Soccer Association for many years. He is married with three grown daughters and eight grandchildren.
C. Keith Haines is our current Chief Pilot. He has been in aviation for over 40 years with over 17,000 of flying time, nearly all in multi-engine jet aircraft. He is a 1977 graduate of the US Air Force Academy with a B.S. in Chemistry. He had a career in the USAF flying several versions of the B-707. He received a M.S. in Aeronautical Science while in the Air Force from Embry-Riddle . He then did a career with United Parcel Service flying the B-747 and MD-11 aircraft. The vast majority of his flying has been international and now enjoys staying a little closer to home. He is actively volunteers in his local community with different activities and also with the USAF Academy in different programs for the cadets and with the Academy’s aero club introducing young people to flying. He thoroughly enjoys the Colorado outdoors with hiking, fishing, biking and skiing.
Mr. Adam Sherak’s aviation career started right after high school, joining the U.S. Navy assigned to flight deck V-1 Division onboard the Nimitz class supercarrier U.S.S. Carl Vinson, responsible for the security and movement of aircraft on the flight deck. During this time he served in both Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom. Post military, Adam joined and graduated from Westwood College of Aviation Technology before beginning his career with International Jet where he advanced quickly to the position of Lead Mechanic and ultimately the Maintenance Manager/Chief Inspector. Adam has over a decade of aviation experience servicing various aircraft including Gulfstream, Bombardier, Dassault, Cessna and other jet/turboprop products. When he's not maintaining aircraft, he enjoys spending outdoor time with his daughter and enjoying all that Colorado has to offer such as hunting, camping and fishing .
Steve grew up in rural Ohio but after graduating from Hesston College he moved overseas to work in humanitarian aviation. He lived and worked in central Africa and Afghanistan for 6 years while holding a variety of positions including, Safety Officer, Director of Operations, and Training Captain. He's been in Colorado for 5 years and lives in Littleton with his wife and 2 children. When he's not flying Steve enjoys spending time with his family in the mountains and amateur photography.
After growing up in Connecticut, Max moved on to become a Third Class Culinary Specialist in the United States Coast Guard, spending time in Petaluma, California as well as Northport, New York cooking for hundreds of people daily. Earlier in life, he spent a lot of time on the water, but decided to make a move towards the mountains of Colorado to manage and open a chain of breakfast/lunch restaurants all over the country. In September of 2018, he found his place here at International Jet working in hangar operations, in addition to being a Flight Coordinator. Max is currently pursuing his Private Pilots license and looking to further his career in aviation. In his off time, you can find Max skiing in the mountain, boating near Granby or anywhere outdoors!
Christy Edwards grew up in the Midwest and attended the University of Illinois in Chicago where she earned her B.A. in Communications. She traveled the country after graduation, eventually settling in Denver to continue her career in senior management with Southern Deli Holdings. Christy is excited to transition into the world of aviation and has enjoyed the associated fast pace and new challenges. In her leisure time Christy relaxes with her husband and one year old daughter in addition to hiking, painting, coffee, and cooking.
Nicole Reints is our Flight Coordinator at International Jet. Originally from Kansas, she grew up with family members in the aviation business and has always been fascinated with airplanes and air travel. She worked for KLX Aerospace Solutions in Wichita, Kansas before making the move out to Colorado to start her career with International Jet. In her leisure time Nicole enjoys working out and spending as much time in the mountains as possible!

Adam Brown is a Colorado native and as Director of Business Development at International Jet, Adam enjoys working in the community in which he was raised. He graduated with a degree in Aviation Management from Metropolitan State University of Denver where he learned about the vast and ever changing world of aviation. After attaining his degree, Adam was hired on as a Sales and Customer Service Representative for Signature Flight Support. Through his work at a Fixed Base Operator Adam provided services to Pilots, Aircraft Owners, Celebrities and Airport Operations. He is a professional sales and marketing consultant with a strong foundation of Aviation Management. Adam loves aviation and has a passion for Private Jet Charter.
Angela Murray is our Charter Sales Representative at International Jet. She graduated from Western Carolina University with a Degree in Hospitality and Tourism and a Minor in Marketing. She worked at the Bachelor Gulch Club in Beaver Creek Resort for many years acquiring a strong background in both Hospitality and Membership Services. She also worked for the Castle Rock Chamber of Commerce in the membership realm helping new businesses off their feet and engaged in the local community. Angela grew up in and around the airline industry and has always been fascinated with aviation business and travel.
Colleen Means brings over 15 years of accounting experience to International Jet from a wide variety of corporations. The financial knowledge she has accrued with various billing software systems, tax procedures, payroll transactions and other accounting functions, puts her in a perfect position to lead our accounting department.
Proud to call herself a Colorado native, Colleen is an outdoor enthusiast enjoying hiking, back packing, bicycling, and fly fishing. She shares these activities with her grown son and daughter and their families.
A Denver native, Rachel moved frequently growing up with a military father, including 5 years in Puerto Rico. She embraced each new experience with a smile, and her positive outlook transitioned well into her first career in healthcare. Most recently, Rachel worked as a Patient Care Coordinator and Front Office Manager but, after 7 years in healthcare, she was ready to explore the new and exciting industry of aviation.
In her free time, she enjoys getting outside and going camping, rock climbing, and snowboarding.
Heike Schaeffer is the assistant controller and started to work at International Jet Aviation in January of 2000.
She was born and raised in Germany and graduated with German degree in Banking and Finance.
During her free time, she enjoys the beautiful Colorado outdoors, going on nature walks with her dog and entertaining family and friends.
