International Jet is proud to announce the successful completion of the International Standard for Business Aircraft Operations (IS-BAO) Stage 3 audit—the ultimate credential in aviation safety and operational standards.
Developed by the International Business Aviation Council (IBAC) and its member associations, this audit consists of best practices that are designed to help flight departments achieve the highest levels of safety and professionalism.
Only a handful of aviation companies have succeeded in completing the rigorous audit—a three-stage process that requires a minimum of four years. Not only is International Jet now one of the very few IS-BAO Stage 3-registered companies, but we passed the audit in the minimum amount of time—with flying colors.
"We are especially proud of our people and the hard work they put into this multi-year effort. We knew that to succeed in the award of a Stage 3 IS-BAO registration, that it would require our people to learn some new ways in which to understand, and then manage their operations. We employed a number of quality management techniques based on ASQ and ISO guidance that were seen as standout efforts in the eyes of the auditor and IBAC. As a leadership team, we were very conscious of the fact that auditors had observed a pervasive weakness in our industry as concerns the development and strength of their Internal Evaluation Programs (IEP’s). As such, we consciously made a decision to excel in this regard," says Donovan DeVasher, Director of Safety and QA.
Completing this milestone acknowledges International Jet’s 37-year dedication to safety, quality assurance and customer service. We will continue to refine our safety systems to meet the ever-changing demands of the industry. Our constant striving for excellence increases not only the quality of our service but also the confidence our clients have in our company. International Jet is committed to ensuring the highest standard of safety and satisfaction in every aspect of every flight.
