July 10, 2018: Centennial, CO—International Jet Aviation is pleased to announce that we will be naming our newly acquired King Air 90 in honor of Gary Anderson, combining both his birth date with his initials. Gary has made many contributions to our success over the more than 18+ years he has worked for our company, filling the roles as Chief Pilot, Asst Chief Pilot—Compliance and Check Airmen. Gary has been a valuable member of our management team and we appreciate all he has done for us!
Gary now joins a list of four other people that have had aircraft named in their honor. They are:
- N225DS—Lear 25: Doug Strangfeld
- N529BC—Lear 35: Bob Crowley (General Manager)(retired)
- N925DM—Lear 35: Diane Magruder (our first receptionist)(retired)
- N219JG—King Air: John Grinton (Dir. Of Maintenance)(retired)
