Saddleback Ranch

Saddleback Ranch is a working ranch located in a valley next to Saddle Mountain. The 8,000-acre ranch offers activities for everyone, including: horse riding and the morning cattle drives when the cattle are moved from one location to another.

The Two-Hour Photo Opportunity Ride is a great way to take in the ranch’s beauty and allows guests to learn interesting facts about cattle. Visitors can go horseback riding or a ride in a horse-drawn wagon to the ranch’s Double Dollar Lodge for dinner.

Strawberry Springs Hot Springs

Strawberry Park Hot Springs is a family-friendly resort with hot mineral springs, lodging and a variety of activities to enjoy from hiking to picnicking. The Park is located next to the Hot Springs Creek on County Road and is just a short drive or shuttle trip from downtown Steamboat Springs, Colorado. Tucked between Rocky Peak and Copper Ridge, just outside of town, Strawberry Park Hot Springs attracts thousands of visitors every year.

Steamboat Springs was used by the Ute Indians for their summer home before the arrival of the first pioneer settlers. The Ute Indians believed the mineral springs rejuvenated both their spirit and strength.

Strawberry Park Hot Springs features beautiful stone mineral pools with 104-degree mineral water that flow from the hillside into the creek and pools below, picnic areas with changing rooms and restrooms, and overnight lodging. There are several pools with different temperatures in the Park, ranging from +/- 104 degrees to a cold plunge pool.

Scenic Gondola Rides

Scenic Gondola rides provide a great view of Steamboat Springs and the surrounding area. It's a great trip for families and couples. This 8-passenger comfortable and enclosed gondola rises up the slopes of Mount Werner and is one of the top tourist attractions in Steamboat Springs.

The ride includes a spectacular view from the Oasis Sun deck of the Yampa Valley and Sleeping Giant Mountain and Flattops Wilderness. Hike along one of many trails, rent a mountain bike, or find a scenic spot for a romantic picnic.

Off The Beaten Path

Off the Beaten Path is one of those bookstores you don't forget. You will find a good selection of books and excellent coffee. They stock all book genres: NY Times best sellers, fiction, memoirs, history, young adults, Indie books. There is a cute kids’ book corner for their youngest readers and a large selection of children literature.

They also sell unique puzzles, candles, chocolates, games, and other items which make great gifts. Off the Beaten Path doesn't just brew great coffee. You can also get pastries, soups, smoothies, quiches as well as beer from the local Butcherknife Brewery.
