H. William Wallace Milam, III - Chairman & Founder
Mr. Milam graduated from San Jose State University in 1973 with a degree in Business Administration. Upon graduating from college he went to work for Wells Fargo Bank in San Jose, California. In 1979 Mr. Milam co-founded International Jet Aviation Services where he has served as Company President, CEO and most recently, Chairman. Mr. Milam learned to fly while attending college and is an FAA-rated Commercial Pilot. He owns and flies his own Cessna 182RG and is a member of the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA). Mr. Milam served in the California Army National Guard from 1970 – 1976.
Lynn M. Krogh - CEO & Founder
Mr. Krogh graduated Magna Cum Laude from Arizona State University and went directly into professional aviation. He held management positions with several aviation firms and was an FAA Check Airman under Part 135 and Part 121 companies. He was a simulator instructor and eventually a senior captain for a major U.S. airline. Mr. Krogh co-founded International Jet Aviation Services in 1979 and served in various capacities including Director of Operations, President and most recently CEO. Mr. Krogh is an FAA-rated Airline Transport Pilot with additional ratings in gliders and seaplanes and has logged more than 16,000 hours. He has experience in many different aircraft including the following jet aircraft: Citation, Learjet, L-29 Delfin, DC-8, DC-10, Airbus 320, and Boeing 727, 737, 757, 767. In addition, Mr. Krogh is a current Certified Flight Instructor and an FAA-licensed Airframe and Powerplant (A & P) Mechanic. Mr. Smith was given his first flying lesson at the age of 10 in southwestern Connecticut and started flying on his own at the age of 17. He graduated from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Aeronautical Science and a minor in Business Administration. He built most of his early aviation experience flying over 100 different types of single and multi-engine aircraft around the country. Sam G. Gilliss - Vice President & General Manager
Mr. Gilliss is a native of Colorado where he grew up and continues to make his home today. He fell in love with aviation as a young boy when he was invited to ride in the cockpit of a DC-3 airplane in Costa Rica. From there his journey in aviation has taken him from flying radio-controlled model airplanes as a teenager, to flying as a combat airman in the U.S. Navy for five years, to flying solo for the first time in a Piper Archer in 1994. Today, Mr. Gilliss continues to grow his passion for aviation while managing the private jet operations at International Jet. He holds a Commercial Pilot Certificate with a multi-engine rating and is a Certificated Flight Instructor. Mr. Gilliss helps volunteer with the Boy Scouts of America and enjoys nothing better than watching his two sons play youth football and basketball.
Michael Elmendorf - Director of Business Development
Mr. Elmendorf graduated with a B.A. in Economics from the University of Vermont and moved to Denver in 1992 to start his career with Charles Schwab & CO Inc. During his tenure with Charles Schwab, Mr. Elmendorf opened a branch office in Ventura, California where he soon discovered a passion for acting and writing. After moving to Los Angeles to pursue his career in the film industry Mr. Elmendorf formed Green Mountain Production Company, which helped to raise funding for TV and motion picture projects. After returning home to Colorado in 2003, he landed the lead role in a film that circulated in the Festival Film circuit. After his experience in the film industry, Mr. Elmendorf began working in the medical sales field where he marketed dental products to global companies. In 2008, Mr. Elmendorf began an exciting career in aviation as the Director of Sales for X Jet World before joining the team at International Jet. During his free time, he writes screenplays and performs in local plays. Mr. Elmendorf is an avid sports fan but his favorite pastime is being “Uncle Mike” to his nephew and niece.

Rod Champney - Chief Pilot
Mr. Champney was born and raised in El Paso, Texas. His father was a Cessna dealer and distributor for West Texas and Southern New Mexico and he became immersed in aviation at a very early age. He soloed on his sixteenth birthday in a twin-engine Cessna 320 on a flight from Wichita, KS to El Paso. Over time, he worked in every facet of the aviation business from maintenance to flight instruction and charter. Mr. Champney graduated, with honors, from the University of Texas at El Paso, majoring in Physics with minors in Mathematics and Accounting. Upon graduating from college he was employed by

Farah Manufacturing Company as a corporate jet pilot and engineer. Mr. Champney joined International Jet in 2001 as Lead Air Medical Captain and was Assistant Chief Pilot prior to becoming Chief Pilot. Mr. Champney holds an Airline Transport Pilot certificate, Flight and Ground Instructor certificates, and is also glider rated having logged a total of 7,500 hours. He has served as an Aviation Explorer Post Advisor with the Boy Scouts of America, is a guest lecturer at Metropolitan State College, and was a very active referee and Co-Chairman of the State Referee Committee for the Colorado State Youth Soccer Association for many years. He is married with three grown daughters and eight grandchildren.
Gary R. Anderson - Assistant Chief Pilot
Mr. Anderson being a Colorado native earned his pilot certificate over 35 years ago at the Fort Collins/Loveland Airport and has been actively flying since. With over 6000 hours logged in Learjets alone, he has a depth of high performance turbine experience. He is currently a Learjet FAA authorized Check Airman and facilitates most of the operational compliance issues with the FAA and other regulatory agencies for International Jet Aviation. Other current and former pursuits and interests include Sertoma, professional photography, home construction foreman, cabinetmaker, Civil Air Patrol (recognized as senior member of the year Nebraska Wing 1986), and general tinkerer.

John Grinton - Director of Maintenance
John enlisted in the U.S. Army after high school and served a year and a half in Vietnam as a helicopter mechanic and crew chief. Following his military service, John completed the Denver Public Schools aircraft training program and received his A&P licenses as well as an Associate Degree in Airframe and Powerplant from Community College of Denver in 1977. He has had an Inspection Authorization since 1980. John has worked as a mechanic and in management positions in various segments of the aviation industry. Those include flying club, commuter airline, corporate, air charter, FBO and military

contracting. He participated in Operation Desert Storm as a contractor for the U.S. Army in Saudi Arabia. John started as a part-time mechanic with International Jet in 1987 and has held positions of Chief Inspector and Director of Maintenance since 1992. He is also a member of the Professional Aviation Maintenance Association (PAMA), 1st Cavalry Division Association and Vietnam Helicopter Crew Members Association (VHCMA). John has more than 33 years of experience as a licensed mechanic.
